Very informative, it is hard to find specifics on these Bose wave radios (I guess Bose didn't release schematics) to be able to diagnose and repair. Where can we buy the capacitors and common parts that usually fail in these units? My 2007 Bose wave radio was working fine, I always left it plugged into outlet but it was hardly used and everything worked perfectly including the CD. I didn't use it for a year and when I went to try it even though it was plugged in it was not lit up. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked on the radio setting for 30 seconds and shutoff and will not turn back on. Any suggestions on exactly what avenue to troubleshoot? Thank you

My wife moved the TV and reefed out the antenna connector and it's such an easy fix once the back is off so thanks for your video explaining how to remove it safely without breaking it. 👍

Hiya best one I’ve watched…….even described the filters! Only one I’ve seen. Big question…is the thick layer always closest to the leds. I think I might have got them other way round ! First time I’ve ever made a mistake like that. I got diamond shaped shadows. Any help really appreciated. LG won’t help. My sets only 6 years old and we only watch after about 8pm and have quite enough by 10.30 and it’s usually web based

Thanks for the videos. I am trying to diagnose my Samsung QN75Q8FNBFXZA. The TV suddenly developed a boot loop issue. It would turn on, but then turn off seconds later, and when it did, I could see two blinks from the standby/power LED. Then it would turn back on briefly, and repeat. Using your diagnostic guide, it appears the power supply is good. I was going to try the "tape fix" but when I disconnected either LVDS ribbon cable, the TV would stay on. That is to say that when both are connected, I get the boot loop issue, but when only one of the panels is connected, it doesn't turn off. Out of curiosity, I swapped the cables and the TV stayed on, but there was still no picture - just backlight on and I could not get the home screen menu to pop up/it would not make the sound that it was appearing on the screen. If you could, I would appreciate any advice. I am thinking it is the main board, possibly needing a BGA solder reflow. Thank you!

My 55in lg that I purchased six yrs ago all of a sudden has a blue tint. Google says might be LED lights and suggested your video. I have a different one. The problem is it was left running but the air intake was blocked, so it got red hot. After that, every time I try to use it, it blows the circuit breaker Looking at it, the silver stuff between the element and the metal shroud, was burnt right through, so I assume that was insulation, and now there's a short. Sound right? Where can i get something to replace the insulation?

I have a Samsung TV model no. LA37C550J1R when I connect it to the power outlet the red standby light turn on, but when I push the power button of the tv. It doesn't turn on. I opened the back of the tv and tried to diagnose it. I disconnected the wire from the motherboard connecting from the power supply board and the backlight turns on. I guess the motherboard is busted. Can I still fix this? I cant find a replacement board here in the Philippines.

So what was the original symptoms and the resolution? My unit will come on bright, then dim for a few seconds, then off. Then cycle through it again over and over. No image, just a backlit screen.

That unit is over 15 years old it is going to be hard to find a good main board. I think you are spot on with your prognosis- main board. Remember you also have the other boards and backlights in this unit that are also 15 years old. Consider cutting your losses of time and money.

Hey Patches(Please Help)(Samsung TV) I been trying to follow your process of elimination.. I had shopjimmy send me 2 main brds with no result said they were both bad brds. 2nd return they just gave me a refund(hmm) here what I have done so far. I also have tried removing the ribbon cable from the power supply I do have back lights but no stand by light i have disconnected the both front & back ribbon from the t-con brd & plugged in no back lights I do have stand by light on I removed the t-con ribbon from main brd no back lights still doesn't power on I have a 30 pin cable for main to t-con coming tomorrow so I can eliminate the cable. Then I would guess it would have to be my main...would this be right not even sure where to get a good brd or even trust someone that has a good brd after doing reviews and return policy. The small little brd thats on the side for the manual on/off button would this cause any issues?? any suggestions??? please help

I have a TH-50PX75U Panasonic Plasma TV that the outer most glass layer has developed dust or grime on the inside that I am unable to clean off. I am wondering if the front only can be removed or accessed in order to clean the back side of the glass without having to disassemble the whole TV or remove the display panel?

Great video - i checked this out today as my UE75nu8000 has red flashing light and wont power on, I removed the back and removed the cable from power to the board and the TV was lit up permanently. Plugged it back in and didn't work. Then took out the 2 panel cables and the TV was back lit again. So this has led to me believing the panel is at fault and that was all down to this video so thanks
